The Chairman of the Iraqi–Turkish Business Council received the head of the Turkish side of the Council together with a number of Turkish companies and Iraqi companies operating in Iraq. Participants discussed the obstacles they face in their work and the scope for expanding partnerships between the Iraqi and Turkish private sectors.

A Council delegation led by Chairman Jaafar Al-Hamdani met the Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad and the embassy’s commercial counsellors.
Chaired by Jaafar Al-Hamdani, the Council’s meeting reviewed obstacles facing traders, its own needs, and preparations for a December conference.
