Council delegation at the Arab–Turkish Business Forum

A Council delegation took part in the forum’s opening, the launch of trade agencies and joint meetings, attended by Arab ambassadors and Iraq’s Ambassador to Türkiye.

The delegation included Council Chairman Jaafar Al-Hamdani, Vice Chairman Duraid Al-Ghurairi, and Council members Hikmat Al-Daqqaq and Alaa Al-Nouri.

On 17 June the delegation attended a meeting with Turkish companies at the Iraqi Embassy in Ankara. Al-Hamdani highlighted the facilities available to investors and the investment opportunities in Iraq across all sectors, and called for joint frameworks for economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
